Court of Honor

Last week we attended Taylor's first Court of Honor for boy scouts. They were giving out all of the awards that were earned during scout camp. Since Taylor is not 12 yet, this was his first time experiencing this. While at scout camp he earned his Tenderfoot, Second Class and First Class awards. It was hard for him, since he was the youngest, he had to do different things than his friends who were earning merit badges. He couldn't start on merit badges until he got to these other ranks. He worked really hard at camp and completed all of the requirements. They also wanted to give him the award for "The Dirtiest Boy" at camp. They said that he had quite the dirt mustache. It was funny. The boys were so dirty when they got home, but I guess Taylor was one of the dirtiest.

He was able to pin me with the First Class pin. We are proud of Taylor and all of his hard work. He is looking forward to working on getting merit badges and progessing through the scouting program.
