1st day of school

The kids started school last Wednesday. They were all really excited, especially Taylor (who was starting Junior High) and Josie (because she absolutely loves school). I think that Brenden was even a little excited. Taylor really enjoyed junior high. He said that it is way better than elementary. He didn't forget his locker combination and made it to all of his classes on time, so the first day was defintiely a success. I think that I was more nervous that he was. I still can't believe I have a child in junior high. It is going to be alot of fun though. I can already see that he is going to have some great experiences.

Josie has been ready to start back at school since about a week after school got out. She was really excited to have Mrs. Warenski as her teacher. She taught Brenden in 2nd grade and was a fantastic teacher. Josie could not even wait to get to school.

Brenden's 4th grade teacher is Mrs. Mitchell and I think he is going to have a great time in her class. She has lots of computers in her classroom that her class gets to work on alot. Brenden loves all of that stuff so I think he and Mrs. Mitchell are going to get along great.

Josie still let me go into her classroom and take a picture of her on the first day. I'm so glad because I don't want my little girl to get too old for that. She is at such a fun age and is really excited about what the next year will bring.

I also went back to school on the first day and it was a good day. It was good to get back into a good routine. This summer has flown by and we had lots of fun, but I guess it had to come to an end sometime. The first day was definitely a success. I am so glad that my kids really enjoy school. I think it would be so difficult if you had to force them to go everyday. There are some days where they really don't want to go, but for the most part they really do want to be there to learn and to hang out with the friends.
