We went to the Anderson Family Christmas party last week. The kids really look forward to it every year. They always get to see Santa and sit on his lap and tell him what they want for Christmas. The kids were not only counting down to Christmas, but also counting down to this party. It is alot of fun.
Here are Taylor and Kayleigh while they are eating. I love this picture of them. They are both so cute. They have nothing in common, but they really enjoy hanging out with each other. Kayleigh is good to put up with Taylor's non-stop sports talk. She doesn't like sports but lets him go on and on about all of the sports he is interested in. They are good friends. Kayleigh is such a pretty girl. They have both grown up so much. It wasn't that long ago that they were little and playing with toys together.
Here is Josie sitting on Santa'a lap. She told him that she wants an American Girl doll this year.
Taylor is asking Santa for a ping pong table. Santa told him that he didn't know how to fit a ping pong table down the chimney and that he shouldn't count on getting one. It was really funny.
Kate was so excited to see Santa. She wrote Santa a letter and mailed it with her preschool class. She asked Santa for a Whoopsie Doo Doll. She is really hoping that Santa brings her one.
Brenden is really hoping that Santa will bring him the new Super Mario game for the Wii. He has heard how much fun it is and really wants to have it.
Santa always brings them a present that they get to open at the party. They love this part. It is so fun and exciting for them to see what he brings them. It was a great party. The best part was that Steve's family wasn't in charge this year so we could just show up with our food assignment and relax and enjoy.
