First Dance Competition

Last weekend was Josie's first dance competition. She has absolutely LOVED dancing this year. I was a little worried about having her dance so much, but she has loved every minute of it. Their costumes turned out so cute and she was SO excited. Here she is with a few of her teammates before their dances. They look so cute!! This is her favorite move. She is constantly doing this at home, well when she is not doing cartwheels, roundoffs and front handsprings around the house. She doesn't even realize that she does it so much. It is so funny.

The girls did their dances so well and were fantastic. I was worried that she might have a little stage fright before dancing, but she didn't at all. She was just so excited and happy to be there. We have another competition next week at Maple Mountain High School, then one at Timpview and Roy High School in May. I am surprised how much fun it was and how much I really enjoyed it. I have heard horror stories about dance competitions and I think I was more nervous than she was. I am glad we have one under our belt and now I am excited for the rest of them. It was so fun to spend this time with my cute girl. Love ya, Josie! You are an amazing dancer!!!
