Kate turns 4!

Last week, our baby girl turned 4 years old. It is hard to believe that it has been 4 years since she came to our family. She has been such a wonderful blessing for each of us and we all love her so much. She is the sweetest little girl and I feel so lucky to be her mother. Here are a few pictures of Kate:

This is Kate when she was 6 weeks old. It was her first photo session.

She was such a beautiful baby. This is Kate when she turned 1. She was such a happy baby, always smiling!

What a joy she is to our entire family.

This is Kate when she turned 2. Still smiling!

This is Kate at 3. Wow, did she grow up fast.

I haven't gotten her 4 year old pictures taken yet, but this is her preschool picture this year.

There are so many things that I love about Kate. I love how she is both a daddy's girl and a mommy's girl. She loves to help her daddy do things. She is the best helper of all. When we got the bunk beds for the girls, she stayed in there with him the entire time handing him screws and doing whatever he asked. She LOVES to help him. She doesn't like helping me so much because that would probably involve a little cleaning.

I love how she loves her brothers and sister SO much. They are all so good with her most of the time and she truly adores each of them. When Josie went to school all day I thought it was going to literally break her heart. She could not stand to be away from Josie for that long.

I love how she gives me hugs and kisses constantly and likes to pat my back while hugging me. It is such a sweet and tender thing to do.

I love how she refers to her Grandma Anderson as the grandma who can sew and who knows Lilly and her Grandma Linda as the grandma who lives by us and knows Savannah.
I love how she knows where we are going before I even tell her. She pays attention while we are driving. Everytime we drive by the bridge on Highway 6, she tells me that is Jessi's bridge and that is where we need to turn to go to her house. She has also learned about stop lights at school and is quite the backseat driver.
I could go on and on. She is an amazing little girl who has completed our family in every way. She brings joy and sunshine into my life every day. I thank my Heavenly Father every day that she is mine! Happy Birthday, Kate! I love you!!
