Josie's 1st Grade Program

Last week we went to Josie's 1st grade graduation program. It was so fun. The kids sang some great songs and even did a few dances. They had all of the first graders doing a line dance that was so cute. Josie has been such a great student this year and has learned a ton in 1st grade. She was very excited to share what she has learned this year with all of us.

This is Josie with a group of girls in her class. These girls have had so much fun and been such great friends this year. I have really enjoyed getting to know each one of these girls at lunch recess every day. They are so funny and come and talk to me each day. I am so glad that Josie has such great friends.

Josie had two first grade teachers this year. Ms. Berger and Mrs. Peterson have been fabulous teachers. Josie has learned to read so well and has absolutely LOVED school. We are so lucky to have such great teachers. This last month or so she has also had a student teacher. Her name is Miss Taylor and Josie has really liked her as well.

Grandpa and Grandma Anderson and Grandma Linda were able to come to her program. Josie was so glad to see them all there. She is very lucky to have her grandparents so close to us. It was also Grandma Linda's birthday so Josie was very excited about that.

Steve and I are so grateful to have such a sweet little girl as our daughter. She brings so much laughter and happiness into our lives. This little girl does not EVER stop talking. She keeps us on our toes and is such a joy to be around all of the time.

Way to go, Josie! We are so proud of you!
