So, last Friday was Taylor's last day of elementary school. He had his 6th grade graduation. It was very strange for us to be there knowing that our oldest son will be in junior high soon. They didn't sing songs and do stuff like all of the younger grades. They handed out diplomas and we watched a dvd of pictures that they had taken throughout the year. Our little boy really has grown up. We are so proud of him for the great young man that he has become. He really is a good kid. I had to hide the tears in my eyes as I watched him graduate from 6th grade. I really do think that he is ready for junior high. Steve and I might not be ready, but I know that he is and I guess that is all that really matters, right?

This is Mr. Andersen, Taylor's fabulous teacher, giving Taylor his diploma!

This is Taylor and his friends, Taylor H. and Sam. They have had a great year and lots of fun together!

Here is Taylor again with his teacher. Taylor absolutely loved having Mr. Andersen as a teacher. He did such a great job. Taylor really enjoyed have a male teacher this year. They spent ALOT of time talking sports.

Both of Taylor's grandmas were able to come and see his graduation. He loves them both so much and really appreciated them being there. He has a special relationship with each of them. It is neat for me to see the way that he treats his grandmas.

And of course, we had to get a picture of Steve and I with our 6th grader. I really do not know where the time has gone. It seems like just yesterday Steve and I were getting married and students at the U. I cannot believe that it has been this long and we actually have a son that will be a teenager this year and going to junior high. I honestly feel like I just left high school myself. It is crazy.

It was a really fun day for him and for all of us. I am so proud of what a great person he is. He has so many friends and has been a great student. I hope that he can continue to do well in junior high. He is so excited to go to school with alot of the kids on his baseball team. It will be alot of fun for them. Junior High, HERE WE COME!!!!
